Finally! A picture of a flower with a blurry background. Now how did I do that again? I think I took the lens off auto focus and did it manually. I was really close to the flower and doubt my lens would have focused on it.
I didn’t realize just how blurry the background was until I downloaded the picture to my computer. Now if I can just repeat this again when I’m really trying to do it.
Yes! I have something to share for this week’s theme! Here is a look at part of my yarn stash. Years ago when I was a tween, my grandmother taught me how to crochet and cross stitch. I thought cross stitch was way cooler and didn’t do much with crochet after making a granny square(well it was more like a circle).
This summer I discovered crocheting again, and I have to say that I love doing it. I’ve been buying yarn like crazy and have already gathered a lot of patterns to try. It’s something I can do while watching TV. I hope it keeps me busy and my mind off of food at night!

Here is a picture of the moon. I had the Tv setting really low and should have kept my camera still. Once it didn’t click right away, I knew I had set it too low to really capture anything as I can’t keep the camera really still for very long.
At least I did create a good picture for odd shots if nothing else.
On my to do list: get Raegan a haircut. I’ve tried to whack at it just to get it out of her eyes. She, of course, is very reluctant to let me succeed. Hopefully she will do better with someone else.
This was taken with my new sweet camera. Now I may actually be able to capture some of those cute expressions of hers that only last a second. Finally I will have some pictures of her smiling. Now to just get that hair trimmed.
