Not sure who is having more fun this Christmas. The girl with her new toys or the cat with the toy packaging. Both are very entertaining this holiday.

Rae wanted to write a letter to Santa. She wants him to bring her a small dinosaur. That might be an easier gift than the red/polka dot teddy bear she wanted last week. Not sure if Santa’s workshop makes such a bear but I have it on good authority that they do indeed make dinosaurs.
Raegan loves my crochet hooks and likes to play with them. Most of the time I let her since I want to encourage her even at her young age of 3 to crochet. Here’s how I found Scooby-Doo in my chair one day.

Scooby reminds me of a warrior about to go to battle. He might want to take up knitting since those at least have a pointy end.

To say Raegan has a few toys would be an understatement. You never know which toys she will play with on any given day or how she might play with those toys. Here is one scene of play time -

It’s so fun to watch her play and so funny to see what she comes up with during play time.

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve posted here. It just seems I miss one day and then it’s a month before I post again!
Here is a photo of some paint on Raegan’s palette. She loves to paint and will keep her entertained for hours.
Rae has never like having her hair brushed. It’s a constant struggle to get her to let me brush her hair. But lately she’s been somewhat better about it. She has long, thick hair and it would be so much fun to play with it. The other day she shocked me when she asked for her hair to be put in ponytails.

She’s so adorable. Maybe this is the beginning of actually letting me fix her hair.
I’m trying to sort through a bunch of old files on my laptop and came across the real beach photos from back in February. In a week we will be back at this real beach but this time it will be warm enough to get in the water.
Rae was ready to strip down and dive in. However, it was way too cold for that. She did enjoy being at the water’s edge. Oddly enough she didn’t seem too impressed by the miles of sand. Toddlers. You never know what will impress them.
Friday we went to the zoo. Rae had a good time. It was with our play date group. I didn’t take the Canon but used my new video camcorder that is also a 5 megapixel digital camera. I have to say I’m impressed with the photos. I haven’t been able to tell that much from the LCD screen because the pictures look a lot better on the computer than on the small screen.
The zoo photos turned out really good and the camera/camcorder is so small that it fits into my purse. So it looks like I will once again be able to carry a camera with me all the time.
